Barry Tan, the principle of CoachingPen, is a Chemical Engineering graduate with a Masters in Business Administration. He has over 25 years working experience in chemical industry in both local and multinational companies, mostly at senior management level including as a CEO and Director in a listed company. He also has experience as a Director of Corporate Services in an International Non Profit Organization.

In recent years he has lent his experience to coaching (and mentoring) executives in performance management and talent development. He is a certified coach and is a Certified Masteries Practitioner with the International Association of Coaching (IAC). He is also a trainer in Workplace Coaching, and a certified professional facilitator.
